Free Professional Learning for Science educators

An exciting opportunity for free professional learning ‘tasters’ for upper primary and lower secondary science educators, ‘Critical Thinking in Science‘ through the Deakin PLEd Hub. The ‘tasters’ on 11th November and 17th November (repeat session) are from 4pm-5pm and provide a ‘taster’ for upcoming full day or online PL. The professional learning is a collaboration with MSET-Ed team members, University of California, Nobel Prize Outreach and Global Access Partners, offering an exciting and innovative program in scientific thinking. The toolkit of strategies equips students to deal with real-world issues, developing critical thinking skills in reasoning and collaboration when using and evaluating information to make evidence-based decisions. The professional learning is mapped to Victorian Curriculum Version 2.0 and Victorian Teaching and Learning Model (VTLM) 2.0. To find out more or to register, please click on the link.
