Professional Learning for science teachers: Contemporary Science Practice in Schools

The PL is the first in a series of 3 workshops offered by the Deakin University Science Education Research Team.

Workshop 1 explores how contemporary scientific practice can transform classroom practice. This hands-on session will guide teachers through adaptable experiments and inquiry-based learning strategies that connect real-world science to student discovery and curiosity. The PL is for teachers and pre-service teachers. The PL is at Deakin University, Burwood Campus on Saturday 9th May, 10am – 1pm. There is no cost. Morning tea is provided.
