The MSET-Ed research group supports teachers to improve students’ learning in STEM, and their wellbeing through an intensely practical research focus. We continue to work closely with schools and teachers and have been involved in major professional learning initiatives of the Victorian Department of Education and Training. This includes the Primary Mathematics and Science Specialists initiative, collaboration with the Victorian Teaching and Learning Academy, and a number of secondary STEM initiatives.
We are increasingly exploring interdisciplinary approaches to STEM.
We offer a range of professional learning opportunities for teachers and schools through the School of Education Professional Learning Hub. We also offer research and the resources that have developed in collaboration with Teachers and Schools. There are opportunities for working within and across schools, and the possibility of credit into our higher degree courses.
