The theme for the symposium is:
Out-of-field teaching across the teaching disciplines and contexts
This theme welcomes research and commentary relating to the out-of-field teaching phenomenon in primary, secondary and tertiary education, and in all subjects. We encourage submissions that report on research and contribute to our understanding of all aspects of the phenomenon. Post-graduate students and early career researchers are welcome.
This symposium will be an online conference.
An outcome of this meeting will be to prepare a proposal for an edited book to be published in late 2021 that showcases the breadth and depth of research and theorising on out-of-field teaching emerging from the OOF-TAS Collective. The edited book will show that there is research happening worldwide that is contributing data, theorisation and insights that have implications for practice, research and policy.
Abstracts for the symposium and/or the edited book are welcome.
